How War and Our Ordinary Lives Connect

I’m traveling the next couple of weeks and will be writing very infrequently, but this just came out from behind the paywall at The Christian Century.

It’s on seeing violence not as something which is “out there” in the nebulous world of international conflict, but that which appears in our midst on a regular basis.

Only because we get used to it all the time can wars become thinkable solutions.
