I have several things in the works, but I wanted to take a break to tell you about a special webinar that I’m hosting with
on September 18th:As part of my regular work directing the Baptist Studies Center at Abilene Christian University, I host several webinars a year with people doing interesting work both within and outside the Baptist world, and I can’t think of a better way to start the year than talking with Dr. Prior. Her new book, The Evangelical Imagination, is an exploration of the images, literature, and cultural markers which have helped to shape the evangelical imagination for the last century, and what we can learn from the way they have shaped it.
This year, the theme for the Center’s series is “A Better Future”, and we’ll begin this conversation asking Dr. Prior what it looks like to recover the best of this tradition.
