I had a piece come out this morning which I wanted to share: a review of a recent book on question of whether just warriors are exemplars for imitation of Christ. It’s important for Christians to have clarity about violence and much of my writing across my career has been devoted to this question. I think this is a book worth paying attention to, if only because it doesn’t want to put the question of violence at arms length from traditional question question questions virtue, and more specifically, whether violence is something which can be an imitation of Jesus.

FOR SUBSCRIBERS: in July, I’m going to start experimenting with a couple of things, the first being a occasional podcast, featuring some interviews and additional material.
But I’m also going to start hosting a monthly get together, an open house kind of situation where people can he would like to bring up and we can just chat all things Christian ethics.
After travel settles down, I’ll get back into my normal rhythm of posting once a week for everyone, and once for paid subscribers.
