Fellow low-church Protestant here! It seems in our circles, most things that are not explicitly forbidden in scripture often seem to skirt by any rigorous moral/ethical scrutiny under the banner of our "freedom in Christ". (Looking at issues of the body and procreation such as IVF, sterilization, etc.) I've found robust moral/ethical gems in the Catholic tradition, but we need more people like Oliver O'Donovan and Matthew Lee Anderson doing the work in the Protestant circles. Enjoyed this talk.
